Some people are just great characters who add colour and light!  Through their mere existence, they contribute to the fabric of the band community just by being there!  

Some you love, some you hate! 

Alberta has had their fair share of these folks over the years.  Drum Majors, tinkers, pipe makers, band mithers, mascots and people who are just fun and interesting to be around.

Let us celebrate - not ridicule them...for they knew not, that they were characters at the time!
